The smartphone will be carrying a dual front facing BoomSound speakers as well as UltraPixel camera just as HTC One.As the device requires a good battery backup, it will sport a 3200 mAh battery.
The brand hasn't really experimented with the design of the new device and it looks very much like its kin HTC Butterfly. Available in colours like red, white and gray, the phone has the metal ring surrounding the camera at the back of the handset just like HTC Butterfly. Since the phone is 10.6mm thick, it is considered to be sturdy and durable.
The price of device is not yet revealed but as GSM Arena reports, it is likely to cost around £490 ($766).
Along with HTC Butterfly S, the Taiwanese company also launched its much awaited smartphone Desire 200. This device lands in the budgetary range as reported by The Next Web .
The Desire 200 has a 3.5 inch display with a screen resolution of 320 x 480 pixels and sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon with a single-core processor 1GHz. It has a RAM of 512MB along with internal storage capacity of 4GB which can be expanded with the microSD slot. The rear-facing camera of the handset is of 5 megapixels and it is packed with a 1320 mAh battery. The device is expected to retail at around £105 ($165).
With these flagship devices, HTC hopes to raise its market value since it did not do very well last year. HTC One sales reached 5 million in a month's time but when compared to its rival Samsung Galaxy S4 it was comparatively less as the sales of S4 was doubled.
