Facebook tweaking the UI design and rolling out feature updates has become a routine. But the recent effort by brand to place it as one of the best search engines is bound to amass a large number of fans.
Facebook's latest tweak to its engrossing list of updates is the introduction of a better algorithm that tends to provide an enriched experience on the search results.
Back in July, Facebook had rolled out the Graph search to provide faster related search results and the newly introduced algorithm will bring up the most important news on the newsfeed for the day.

In simpler words, the pages liked by the users will now show the 'high quality content' and only the necessary information, according to Engadgets.
"Our goal is to show the right content to the right people at the right time so they don't miss the stories that are important to them, Facebook team wrote on a blog post, reported Tech 2. "As part of that we want to make sure that the best quality content is being produced, surfaced and shared."
A software engineer with Facebook also explained that users have often complained about how Facebook pages fail to pull appropriate content from the related pages, and that the recent changes in algorithm have been made based on the user request.
The algorithm is primarily based on the user search trends and will come up with the improved search results from pages or the sites frequently searched by the users. The pages that have already gathered a significant number of followers with the help of insight feature will make the content primarily available for the users who are most frequent visitors for the page.
The algorithm will now scrap the low quality post and will filter the same on keep a track of the hidden posts or the recent posts received by the users from that particular page. Initially Facebook had rolled out the update for a limited number of users, but it made the feature official last weekend.
Facebook has also come up with a shared album feature that lets the users share snaps along with their friends on the common album. The users can add, view and even edit them and can also invite up to 50 friends to contribute on the commonly shared album. Facebook has assured that the privacy issues that have worried a lot of users will be taken care of, according to Mashable.
