While Apple is gearing up to launch the two rumoured iPhones, the iPhone5S and the iPhone5C, it is also being said that the tech giant might have started working on another iPhone with a bigger display of 6in.
The present iPhone variant has a display of 4in and if the rumours turn out to be true then it would be a giant leap for the tech giant in terms of display, reported Wall Street Journal.

The rumoured iPhone6 with a display of 6in will not launch along with the other iPhones on 10 September, 2013. Instead it is likely to be unveiled in 2014.
When Wall Street Journal tried to contact an Apple spokeswoman, she refused to comment on the reeling rumours. Until now, all the first five generation iPhones were introduced with a display of 3.5in but iPhone 5 moved away from the tradition and made an appearance with a slightly bigger display of 4in.
These rumours indicate that the tech firm is now shifting its interest to bigger displays to give a tough competition to its competitor Samsung. The South Korean company has been way ahead in the smartphone market share as the firm offers its customers more devices in different sizes and prices.
On, 4 September, 2013, Samsung added another device Galaxy Note III to the tech world. Note III happens to have a 5.7in display, which puts the device in the existing phablet category.
Even though these rumours might excite the patrons, they will have to wait until next year to be sure that the brand is coming up with a bigger device. Meanwhile they will have to console themselves with Apple's upcoming iPhone5S and iPhone5C.
The iPhone5S is likely to be a predecessor of iPhone5. When most of the features will just be upgraded, iPhone5S will launch with fingerprint sensor, which will help the users to protect their privacy from others. The device is likely to be available in four elegant colours of black, white, gunmetal grey and champagne gold.
The iPhone5C is another gadget that is expected to launch alongside iPhone5S. iPhone5C is said to fall in the range of a budgetary smartphones and it will be offered in multiple colours.
